Recurrent malignant mesothelioma is cancer that has recurred (come back) after it has been treated. The cancer may come back in the chest or abdomen or in other parts of the body.1
Treatment of recurrent malignant mesothelioma may include the following:
- A clinical trial of biologic therapy.
- A clinical trial of chemotherapy.
- A clinical trial of surgery.
